Abstract

Analyze the achievement gap in mathematics between students of high-income, and students of low-income based on the district in which they attend school. The main population of students that this paper focuses on is high school students in mathematics classes. The report discusses the background of the issue to make clear what the problem is and to bring understanding to how the difference may have begun in the first place.
