The Non-Genomic Effects of 17β-Estradiol on Mouse Skeletal Muscles
Date of Award
This project will explore the effects of steroid hormones on skeletal muscles. Information will be gathered about the genomic and non-genomic effects of testosterone and estrogens on skeletal muscle. A protocol will be developed and used to test the non-genomic effects of solubilized estrogen on mouse skeletal muscles using an in vitro muscle test system.
