The Commonwealth Honors Program at Framingham State University is designed to provide academically talented students with the opportunity to enrich their educational experience with courses both within and outside of their major program of study.

The capstone experience of the Honors Program is the directed study Senior Honors Thesis conducted under the supervision of a faculty member in the student's major department.

Historically, the final copy of the honors thesis has been submitted in bound form to the Framingham State University Archives and Special Collections. Students are given the option to deposit their theses in the Framingham State Digital Repository starting in 2018.
