A DOG'S LIFE. "“Petey boy, you've destroyed my only pair of dress shoes, and now I can’t go to that dance with Harold Brown,” and the tears started to come again in torrents. But I wasn't interested in tears any more. I pricked up my ears and listened for more about this Brown fellow. We neighborhood dogs don’t like that man. He's just the kind of so-and-so that kicks mutts and lashes horses."
