Highlights

Faculty are now officially professors:

"In the year 1932, the normal schools in Massachusetts—by act of the legislature—became teachers colleges. At that time only two changes were made—normal school was changed to Teachers College and principal of normal school was changed to President of Teachers College.

Since that time, we had the strange situation of having colleges with no professors—the titles of those teaching there being a hold-over from the normal school days." (page 1)
